Sullivan|Simon ghostwrites a compelling sentencing memo, earning a reduced sentence.

The hiring attorney’s client pleaded guilty to possession of oxycodone with the intent to distribute. The sentencing guidelines called for more than 10 years of incarceration. The defense attorney hired us to write a sentencing memo detailing why a sentence of probation without incarceration was appropriate.

Based on the sentencing memo we ghostwrote, the judge imposed a sentence of just one day of jail time plus probation. The defense attorney thanked us, saying, “Yeah, I think you did a pretty good job.”
