The Pennsylvania Supreme Court held that law enforcement agents do not violate the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution when they fail to specifically apprise a defendant that criminal charges already had been filed against him but otherwise sufficiently issue Miranda warnings. The Court noted that the United Supreme Court and all circuit courts of appeals held likewise.
