The Pennsylvania Superior Court heard a mother’s appeal from an order of the Court of Common Pleas that changed the permanency goal from reunification to adoption and terminated her parental rights. The Superior Court affirmed, finding that the evidence presented proved the mother relinquished her parental claim, pursuant to 23 Pa.C.S. ยง 2511(a)(1), and that terminating the mother’s parental rights was in the best interest of the child, under Section 2511(b).
