Ileiwat (“Wife”) and Labadi (“Husband”) appealed from the trial court’s order resolving the economic issues related to the Jordanian divorce decree that terminated the parties’ marriage. On appeal, Husband argued that, pursuant to 23 Pa.C.S. § 3104, the trial court did not possess subject matter jurisdiction. The Superior Court affirmed the trial court’s jurisdiction.

Wife challenged the trial court’s calculation of alimony pendent lite (“APL”). The Superior Court reversed the trial court’s order concerning the APL award. The Court found that neither the master nor the trial court applied the appropriate law, which mandates that the guideline support amount is presumed to be the correct support amount.
