In Commonwealth v. DeJesus, the defendant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life without parole (“LWOP”) when he was 17 years old. In 2018, after an extensive re-sentencing hearing, the trial court sentenced him to LWOP. The Superior Court affirmed the sentence, finding the trial court “meticulously considered” the factors established by Miller v. Alabama.
