In Pa. Democratic Party v. Bookvar, a predictably fractured Pennsylvania Supreme Court exercised its extraordinary jurisdiction to deal with several crucial issues for the upcoming election. Most notably, the Court permitted drop boxes for ballots and extended the deadline in which absentee ballots may be counted, so long as they are properly postmarked.
