Here’s another “Only in Philly” opinion. The Honorable Jacquelyn Frazier-Lyde held Ed Meehan, Esq., in contempt for supposedly scoffing at the judge’s ruling. She then held Mr. Meehan in contempt on three separate grounds and sentenced him to five days in jail. In Commonwealth v. Meehan, the Superior Court went out of its way to rule in favor of Mr. Meehan, vacating the judgments on each of the counts.
