The Pennsylvania Superior Court heard a pro se appeal from an order denying a petition to review the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Office’s disapproval of a private criminal complaint. The Court gave an overview of the basis for which a DA’s office may disapprove of a private criminal complaint and the scope and standard of review on appeal. Here, the Court agreed with the trial court that the appellant was trying to relitigate his divorce proceedings by framing his claims as criminal charges. The Court affirmed the trial court’s order.
