In re Nomination Paper of Scroggin was a dispute about November’s general election ballot. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court directed the Secretary of the Commonwealth to remove the Green Party candidates’ names for President and Vice President from the ballot. The Court found that the Green Party’s candidate for President failed to comply with the Election Code’s strict mandate that she append an original affidavit to her nomination paper.
