The New Jersey Appellate Division affirmed the order of the Law Division, which approved an amended settlement agreement between the municipality and the Fair Share Housing Center (FSHC) in this Mount Laurel case. Mount Laurel refers to a series of cases that recognized the power to zone carries a constitutional obligation to do so in a manner that creates a realistic opportunity for producing a fair share of the regional present and future need for housing low- and moderate-income families. Here, the intervenor raised numerous claims of error regarding the settlement agreement. But the Appellate Division affirmed the agreement.
